Size guide

Barefoot shoes fit differently. Toes need room to splay, so width matters as much as length. This guide will help you find the perfect pair.

  1. 1. Start with your usual size

The best guide is to start with your usual shoe size. On each product page you'll find specific fit notes: "fits small" — go up a size; "fits true" — order your normal size; "fits large" — go down a size.

  2. 2. Trace your foot

Stand next to a wall and place a sheet of paper on the floor against it. Place your foot on the paper with your heel touching the wall. Trace the outline with a pencil — start at the heel and go all the way around. It's easier if someone helps.

  3. 3. Keep the pencil vertical

This is the key detail: while drawing, the pencil must be at 90° — straight up, not angled. An angled pencil will make your foot look smaller than it is. Don't draw under the foot. Both feet are rarely identical — measure both and use the larger one.

  4. 4. Measure and add clearance

Measure the length of the outline in millimetres. Add 5–10 mm to make sure the fit isn't tight (depending on personal preference). If you wear thick socks, factor that in too. Then check the brand's size chart to find your EU size.

Tip

Measure your feet in the evening — they expand throughout the day. Wear the socks you usually use with shoes when measuring.
